• This rate applies to all preparation and mediation time.  There are no administrative fees or charges for pre-mediation conference calls with counsel.
• Payment for one hour of preparation and eight hours of mediation time is to be made prior to the mediation.  Additional time spent is billed after the mediation; payment for time not used after a minimum of four hours of mediation time is refunded.
• Fees are split equally between the sides unless other arrangements are made in writing; responsibility for payment of fees lies primarily with the attorneys, secondarily with the parties.

The advance payment is required within two weeks of the mediation date being confirmed.

Mediations cancelled fewer than 14 days prior to the scheduled mediation date will incur a cancellation fee of $1,000, to be paid by the attorneys for the party/parties cancelling the mediation, unless another matter can be scheduled for that date. If the cancelling party reschedules the mediation to take place within three months following the cancellation, the cancellation fee may be applied toward the advance payment for the rescheduled mediation.
